'WHY CAN'T YOU SEE ME' 03/06/26
'Where I Go' was the first CurlyFries song to hit streaming services. It was also the first CurlyFries song he produced solely. The cover was designed by JT. 'Where I Go' was released on August 11th, 2023, and the music video, shot in Japan, was released alongside it. The music video was directed by Chyler Jordan and Jeffery McCormack. It was filmed over 12 days while Curly was with his travel club. Curly himself said that 'when I knew we were going to Japan, I instantly thought of [Where I Go], I mean, that melody is just such a Japan vibe, don't you think?' The song itself actually originates from late 2022 when Curly was working on his original idea for 'Did You Know I'm Here?', when that album was under the provisional title of 'CF', and only consisted of 8 songs.
The second single that was released for 'Did You Know I'm Here?'. The cover was designed by JT. It was released on December 15th, 2023, without any visuals. Curly wrote this song a month before its release, inspired by a girl he had met. The infamous 'maybe I'm into tomboys' line is a direct reference to that girl. 'So I Need' is Curly's mom's favorite of his songs, and a memory he has is of the first time he played it for her, when she was bumping her head to it on the couch.
The cover was designed for 'CF' rather than DYKIH, and JT designed it with the ideas of that album in mind. 'CF' consisted of only 8 songs and was intended to tell a completely different story than the current trilogy. The original track list was
No One Knows
Ghost
Purple Daze
Tell Me - CF Version
Where I Go
My Dream
Calming - Interlude
Storming
