'Why Can't You See Me' was the first single CurlyFries released, released on March 6th, 2026. The cover art was designed by JT. The song itself was first created in April of 2025 as a rough beat idea. Curly stated on Instagram that the song has undergone over 10 complete transformations, including one that was a 'dance track'. The released version features 3 beats: the intro, the chorus, the verses, and the outro. The chorus vocals are actually the same vocal take all the way back in April, when he first recorded the song. The music video for 'Why Can't You See Me' would also be released alongside this track, featuring CurlyFries rapping in his backyard and many other clips to keep the viewers' attention. Curly had told JT when asking for the cover art that he wanted something 'grungy' and 'dark' and that he wanted the music video to feature slightly edgy clips, which explains some of the media presented within that video.
The second single for 'Why Can't You See Me.' was 'Right Now (Jam)', which was released on May 8, 2026. Sporting a more ballad-style 80s-inspired instrumental, CurlyFries enters a new vocal range. The coming in at 3:47 encapsulates perfectly what it feels like to be seen but not heard while in love. Despite not having any direct visuals, the monotonous cover designed by Julias showcases the simplistic beauty of love, or at least that is what is intended, according to CurlyFries.
